Borders permeate our entire lifes. They are present and everywhere. Visible and invi- sible borders. Boundaries between people, borders within a society, social boundar- ies, mental limits/bouderies. In our minds there is a border between life and death. Even in the hereafter there are boundaries between paradise and hell.

The installation tryis on the basis of a reconstruction of this border section to ex- amines whether the proclaimed ideals of our European society can match this „bu- ilt“ partitioning. Is the willed foreclosure not a cowardly escape responsibility in the face of the human disaster in our world?
